RK ACCESS is a UK based company and complies with UK consumer law. Our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
RK ACCESS is committed to offering a first class service and the best value for money and quality access products available.However,sometimes problems do occur. We are here to ensure they are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Prices exclude VAT (Value Added Tax) this will be charged at the prevailing UK rate.
Whilst we do our utmost to ensure prices are up to date and correct, errors sometimes may occur and in this case you will be contacted before your order is shipped.
RK ACCESS accept most major credit cards for online orders. You will be asked to enter your card details and the name and the address of the cardholder when you place the order. These details will be verified and you will be contacted if we find the card or address details to be incorrect.
Payments by BACS are also accepted.
Personal cheques are accepted.In all cases orders will not be processed until funds have cleared through our bank.
We take online security extremely seriously and have taken several steps to ensure that your payment information is processed confidentially and accurately.
We are enrolled in the Verified by Visa card protection system for your protection as well as ours. You will be asked to complete your security details at the end of each transaction. If you are not enrolled please click the appropriate button.
RK ACCESS will undertake to deliver all orders to UK Mainland, except Scottish Highlands, including Channel islands within 5- 7 working days approximately following the date of order.NI & ROI deliveries are on a fortnightly basis. During periods of exceptional high demand at the manufacturers, the delivery lead time may extend to 10-15 working days on some products, but we will always endeavor to deliver in the shortest lead time possible. We will notify of any extended delivery at the time of placing your order. Occasionally, stock out situations can arise, whereby you will be advised of the anticipated delivery lead time or offered an alternative product if suitable. Some special components may have extended lead times of up to approximately 15 working days. Delivery to Scottish Highlands and offshore islands may incur additional charges. We cannot accept any liability for late delivery after the order has been dispatched.
We can also ship to most parts of the world and can arrange shipping and documentation as required.
Delivery is free to UK mainland on orders above £395. Orders below £395.00 will be charged at £20. Deliveries to Channel Islands below £395 will incur a carriage charge of £60. All offshore locations will incur additional charges for orders.
Our delivery charges are at flat rate, i.e, these are the amounts we have to pay. We do not inflate the price of the product to include free delivery within the above order values, as we believe this only disguises the true value of the product.
Next day or 48 hour delivery is available on some items, but will incur additional charges.Orders for next day delivery cannot be accepted after 12 noon.Next day delivery charges are £25 for the first item ,and £10 for each additional item to the same address.Products will be bundled as a single item wherever possible. These charges apply to some products within weight and length restrictions. Where products are shown as next day not available please contact us. We can arrange next day through local couriers but additional charges will apply. Next day conditions apply to all Boss towers and components. Please contact us for details.
Should we be unable to fulfill your order within a reasonable time scale for any reason, other than out of stock situations, you will be contacted and and advised of the expected lead time or offered an alternative product if suitable, should you wish to, you can cancel your order. A 5% administration charge will apply to cancellations for any other reason ,if original payment was made by credit/debit card. A Further charge will be incurred if we have to arrange collection of the goods.
We only use trusted and recognised carriers. You must sign for all goods upon delivery. RK ACCESS cannot accept any liability for goods unsigned for. All goods should be inspected and signed for as checked. We ask that you do not sign for as unchecked as we are unable to claim for any missing items or transit damage unless all goods have been signed for as checked.We cannot accept any liability for any damage either direct or indirect, unless notified to us within 24 hours.
Any shortages or discrepancies MUST be notified at the time of delivery, or within 24 hours. We are unable to accept any responsibility for any shortages brought to our attention after the time of delivery
Failed deliveries will be notified to you by the carrier who will advise you of the action required to re-deliver or arrange collection from their premises. If the product has to be returned to our warehouse, re-delivery will incur additional charges.
We reserve the right to amend product specification and to update product description from time to time. Whilst every endeavor is made to ensure accuracy, we can accept no liability for any detail discrepancy.
All products supplied are covered by manufacturers warranty for use only for their intended purpose and in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. RK Access can accept no responsibility or liability for any incident arising from misuse or inappropriate use or use not in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and guidelines of any product supplied.
